We developed teacher and student resources for the No Stone Left Alone Memorial Foundation in 2022. No Stone Left Alone is dedicated to honouring and remembering Canada’s veterans. Their program provides students and youth with an authentic experience that creates knowledge, understanding and appreciation of those who serve and of the sacrifice of Canada’s fallen.
The teacher and student resources link personal stories and reflections from those students who have already experienced the No Stone Left Alone Remembrance Day program to stories and contexts around the veterans and soldiers they honour. The resources were designed to support Social Studies, Language Arts, Fine Arts and Leadership curriculum across Canada.
