Patricia Shields-Ramsay Lead Consultant/Learning Designer
Patricia Shields-Ramsay, BEd MEd provides resource development, project management, educational consulting, research and professional development support. Patricia has a classroom teaching background and was also a sessional instructor with the Faculty of Education at the University of Alberta for six years. Patricia has an extensive base of experience involving:
- Knowledge of pedagogical approaches, including learning theory, inquiry, critical thinking, differentiated instruction and assessment
- Excellent writing and creative development applications
- Effective curriculum implementation and professional development support
- Research methodologies
Patricia has completed a range of projects involving stages from initial needs assessment, research, conceptualization, writing, review and field testing to design management and final production of resources. She has led the successful development of several print and digital classroom and teacher resources.
Patricia has a solid grounding in educational research and a focus on best practice in learning and teaching methodologies. She has completed research into what constitutes effective curriculum design and implementation. Doug Ramsay Consultant/Learning Designer
Doug Ramsay, BEd MA was a teacher, consultant and administrator with the Calgary Board of Education in Alberta, Canada for more than 25 years. He also worked as the Executive Director of Citizenship Matters, focusing on citizenship education and promoting the need to rebuild a sense of community; locally, nationally, and internationally. He provides educational consulting, writing, research and professional development services. Doug has an extensive base of research and implementation experience involving:
- Citizenship education
- Knowledge of pedagogical approaches, including inquiry, critical thinking, differentiated instruction and assessment
- Effective curriculum implementation and professional development support
Doug is an experienced project manager and has completed a range of different learning focused projects that have involved all stages of development, from initial needs assessment, research, writing, and field testing to design management and final production of reports, papers and resources.

Jordan is an independent web developer/consultant who provides support to InPraxis Learning. He has over 22 years of experience developing websites and applications for many clients including both public and private sector organizations. Many of his projects involve large data management systems, with e-commerce and event registration management.
Jordan has provided design, development and technical services for several of InPraxis Learning's projects, including project AGRICULTURE.
