Building Future Voters – InPraxis Learning

the project

We originally developed the Building Future Voters program in 2008 for Elections Alberta. In 2017, we updated the resources to focus on Alberta’s curriculum competencies and created and developed the content for a new website for teachers and students.

The teaching and learning resources provide approaches, activities, assessment strategies, visual organizers and backgrounders that encourage the involvement of students in their schools and communities as a necessary first step to involvement in political processes, including voting.
